I won!!! It's official - my book 'The Secret Cooking Club for Girls' is the winner of the Times/Chicken House Children's Fiction Competition 2015. I am now one step closer to achieving my dream of being a published children's auntor. There is an article on the competition in today's Times. To the other shortlistees - I wish you all the best - your turn next!
It is an exciting time for me as a writer! I very much appreciate the support of my family and my writing group, as getting here has not been an easy process. Thanks so much to Chicken House, the Times, and the judges of the competition. Today you have made a dream come true, and I look forward to working with you on the next stage of the journey.
I also have an inspiration board on pinterest here:
I am a writer of children's, young adult and women's fiction, an in-house solicitor (attorney) for a renewable energy company, and a mum-of-three girls… etc. I hope you enjoy exploring this showcase of some of my work.
